Sorry I haven’t blogged in such a while, it just got to the stage where I was too lazy to update everyone about my life but figured it was time to do so now.

Laptop:

Well it’s definitely goodbye Laptop as after 2 weeks, still no system board could be found. The downside was not even the photos I had on there could be recovered. Luckily for us, the guy has a no fix no fee system so we didn’t get charged. On the bright side,  I get a nice shiny laptop. On the downside, it might be a few weeks till I get it.

Clothing:

Well most people were saying I should wear a sari for this event. Instead I’ve come up with an idea. I have to buy two dresses by the end of the year and figured if I don’t have the cash then I’ll wear the sari to my friend’s 21st birthday. On top of that, today was forced to buy new pairs of jeans after I managed to rip a massive hole beyond repair in my favourite blue ones. I don’t know how I got that hole, figured it was from too much wearing. On the bright side, brought a nice pair of designer ones.

Health:

Went to the doctor’s today. He noticed I had flat feet and is making an appointment at hospital for me. On top of that, got told off for not resting my right hand but when I complained it was my main hand, he recommended another arm split that didn’t prevent me from doing all my usual activities.

Travel:

We’re suffering from a 72 tube strike. The three lines not effected are the Northern, Jubilee and Piccadilly line past Rayners lane. The funny thing was, I discovered my main line has become more efficient and I actually get to places faster thanks to the strike.

School:

Went to a meeting yesterday to be told by my tutor that my personal statement was okay, just the english was a bit wacky. Then my two best mates managed to rip it apart within five minutes of being shown it in a good way. Also discovered today I’m not escaping the Maths department as I need further maths AS which they completely forgot about (intentionally or unintentionally I do not know).

So are you getting a VAIO again or some other brand? :D Sad that you couldn’t recover the data… I’ve heard that desktop HDD’s can be encased in an external USB container and used as external drives and probably there are notebook ones as well…

    I had flat feet
You must be a relative of Donald Duck then! Hi Shani Duck! :P

I’m not escaping the Maths department as I need further maths AS
    Snape and Potions anyone?

Hey I heard that about the external USB thingy too! More more details see Saskia B, she described something like that to me recently cos something happened to her computor too :S

Love the TFL related cartoon btw :D

@Ash: Don’t know what brand I’m getting yet. Still mourning the first vaio. Oh really? That would be really good if the repair guy could do that.

Sorry. Not related to Donald Duck, but bucket is!

Snapes and potions = Maths department. I doubt they like me now.

    @Bucket: Thanks!

I got more info! You could get yourself a Transcend [or any other brand] 3.5 inch [or 2.5 inch depending on your drive bay size] case, and then connect it to your PC and get all of your data. In fact you can then use it as an external drive! :D

What? Bucket! Cool! I wanna see Bucket Duck cartoons! :P

Darn, still logged in to my brother’s account. That was me! *points to previous comment*

Oh and remember to PUT IN the drive in the case! :P I’d get a RED VAIO if I was use… sexy! Otherwise a Lenovo perhaps…

Ah so that’s who the mysterious BMW test driver is lol.

That would be good if I could SEE what was on the screen. We need another external drive. 80GBs isn’t enough for a family of three now deciding that backing up every week is pretty smart.

Oh and a red one? I loved the blue or white one. Red one is pretty too though.

It goes shows up as an external drive seemingly, like when you join up a flash disk. So its pretty useful. :)

Ah, too bad I wasn’t around. I actually use an external drive that you guys are talking about. It’s from an acquaintances old laptop and is 20GB. These casings and all are easily available and you don’t lose your data either. You might wanna ask the computer guy that.

Your English was a bit wacky?!
