About me?

Okay…so you came here wanting to know a bit about me…well lets start with the basics…I’m a Sri Lankan girl living in the uk..where in the uk I’m not gonna tell cause that would just be stupidity on my part. Currently studying though and living my life (well what there is of it). I have so many great friends but only keep a few close to my heart. I love meeting new people and love (as well as hate) change. I can be demanding apparently…but I do get things done when forced to…I love procrastinating and like every other woman/girl…chatting. I can be a big talker when you set me off but am most of the time content just to listen to others. I hate being lost in conversations so if you do start a new topic and I look like I’m about to zone out…tap me on the shoulder and warn me. My favourite sport has got to be cricket…the tests are boring but the one day internationals are amazing. Being biased…I support Sri Lanka…but if they are not playing either England or Australia…depends who is playing though! However if there is a triangular series…I’d support Sri Lanka all the way through…then England…then Australia.

Okay next topic…music…that is a hard choice…but I do love Phil Collin’s music…right now dance into the light is playing. I do love some other songs too…Tatu have some good songs like 30 minutes…Avril Lavigne has amazing songs, the lighthouse family too..even though they have split up. Drops of Jupiter by Train is also amazing…gotta admit that is one of my fav songs…the one song that I do truely love but cannot find the lyrics ANYWHERE is leaving by EQ. If you do find the lyrics for that song…please please please tell me and I’d love you forever…otherwise I’m gonna have to write them up. Jessica Simpson - With you is now playing and I love it….It’s rather catchy actually…I can’t help but sing and hum to it….’with you, oh oh oh oh, come and take me, love me, save me, like nobody else, now I can be myself with you’ I wish that was true…I can’t be myself with anybody but myself…meaning I can’t be myself unless I’m on my own…guess cause I get to think and reflect about myself…I tend to do that alot…a) stops me getting bored b) Guess it makes me a stronger person..because…I guess I understand my faults and therefore make less of a big deal about it. (btw…I love Hilary Duff’s music…I can hear the gags now…well tough!).

Reading is my second main interest after music. I love classics but even more than that I love action books because they keep my attention..if you had to ask me about my favourite author…it would definately have to be a toss up between James Patterson and Anne Rice….(though I have yet to finish Lestat). Okay not gonna go droning on about reading since I guess that will bore people….

But other things you would like to know about me are: I loveeeeeeeee singing and dancing, dressing in fancy clothes (since I hardly do that), meeting new people, talking about myself (only occasionally!), doing karaoke though I cannot sing a note, watching horror movies and not being able to stand normal movies that make me cry or scared such as Pearl Harbour and Titanic…(left me crying for weeks on end), I actually like being tidy though my room is a mess and no matter what I try…it just doesn’t seem to want to tidy up. I also hate working though it may seem like it…all I want to do is kick back and have a fun time…I love being surrounded by people though even though earlier I said I wasn’t.

Okay looks like I went on and on and on about myself…if you want me to add more things about myself on here…no not addy, telephone number, NI number, credit card numbers etc…just leave me a message and I will try to get back to you :D

    You have almost some same interests as me. I like cricket (India is my favorite). Reading is my first in line of interests and then comes music.

    I recommend Evanescence to you. Their album Fallen is one of my favorites. Or Red Hot Chili Peppers are great too. Their double album Stadium Arcadium is superb. :-)
